The training attaches to continuing judicial education, to which the judges should attend, and the topics Irma is invited to share the experience with the judges are;
Criteria Under Which Likelihood of Confusion Should be Evaluated, scheduled to be held on December 20, 2018;
Enforcement of IP Right On Online Environment, scheduled to be held on December 21, 2018;
Legal Grounds and Procedural Means to cancel a later registered mark, scheduled to be held on February 21, 2019.
She will be part of an honoured panel consists of professor of School of Magistrates, judge from the First Court of Tirana, and the Director of Albanian Industrial Property.
Irma is keenly interested in working on this project. I have a few issues on my radar that I hope to explore – Irma says. These include strengthening the quality of the judicial system in examining cases related to IP and keeping on eye on the areas that may require attention, such as technology, which has made the world smaller and more connected, and IP an evolving landscape.
With the topics the training is related to, enthusiasm and knowledge of the panel, I am confident that all the training will be helpful for the judges – Irma finishes.
